Antenatal Clinic – Alternate Wednesdays 14:00 – 15:50

For all pregnant women regular supervision is important from as soon as possible after pregnancy is suspected.  The clinic will be run by our midwife.  Contact reception to make an appointment.

Diabetic Clinic

Patients will be invited to attend the clinic, two clinics take place each month.

Minor Surgery

The patient must make an initial appointment to be assessed by the doctor.  Minor surgery can be carried out by Drs Mason & Walke.

COPD Clinic & Asthma Clinics

The practice provides regular weekly clinics.   As a practice we encourage all our Patients diagnosed with COPD or Asthma to attend for an annual review with our Specialist Practice Nurse.  This will be an opportunity to review your medications and is proven to improve management of your condition with the aim of reducing preventably acute exacerbations.

Well Baby Clinic – Monday 11:30 – 13:00.

Pre-scheduled vaccinations and assessments will be carried out. Takes place in the Community Suite.

Ulster Hospital Minor Injuries

For sprains, strains, broken bones in arm, foot and ankle, wound infections, minor burns and scalds, minor head injuries, insect and animal bites, minor eye injuries.  Opening hours 08:00 to 18:00 7 days a week.

Family Planning Clinic

  • Newtownards Community Hospital Tuesday 09 – 11:30.  
  • Holywood Health Centre Thursday 14:00 – 16:00. No appointment necessary.

Women’s Smears

The cervical screening programme currently starts at age 25 with 3 yearly smears until the age of 50 to 65 when smear are every 5 years. You will be invited to  contact the practice to book an appointment when your next smear is due.  If you are unable to get an appointment that is suitable to you, please feel reassured that Family Planning Clinics in Bangor, Newtownards and Holywood  (see above for times etc) offer a smear service with no appointment necessary, results will be shared with the Practice.  Smear results take 6 weeks, and will be left at reception for collection when received.

Travel Health

The Practice can provide NHS vaccines eg Hep A, Typhoid. Please contact the Practice for more information.

BP Monitoring

Patients over the age of 40 are advised to have this checked annually.  For further information contact reception.

Smoking Cessation

Services are provided by local pharmacy.
